The researchers said they chose to focus on the liver because it is a key organ in many toxicological and disease processes. MUNCIE, Ind. (AP) — A Ball State professor is being honored by the Indiana Historical Society for his efforts to tell the state's stories. Ronald Vaughan Morris will receive the 2014 Dorothy Riker Hoosier Historian Award on Monday in Indianapolis. Morris has published numerous books about creative ways to teach elementary school social studies.
