Some of the most prestigious and highly regarded graduate degrees in the country can be obtained in universities all across Indiana, according to the 2014 U.S. News list of Best Graduate Schools, released earlier this morning.

Finishing second only to Syracuse University is the Public Affairs program at Indiana University, followed by the university’s Online Business Degree at number three. Also ranking in the top ten is Purdue University’s Engineering school, which managed to climb the ranks from last year’s number 10 spot to tie with Indiana University’s Library and Information Studies program at number eight.

Incidentally, Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis rank in at number 15 on this year’s list for the country’s top nursing programs, while the University of Notre Dame comes in at number six for Medieval and Renaissance Literature and number 23 for Law. Valparaiso University also receives an honorable mention on this year’s list for their efforts as a second-tier law school.
