In His 3rd Season, Hilton is a Key to the Colts’ Offense
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton is still going full speed ahead. After proving himself as a rookie in 2012 and posting his first 1,000-yard season in 2013, Hilton has become a key player for Indianapolis.
He and Andrew Luck are now able to communicate with a certain look and a simple nod, and the results have been impressive.
Hilton caught nine passes for 223 yards in the Oct. 9 victory over Houston and had seven more catches for 107 yards last week in a 27-0 victory over Cincinnati.
If Hilton does it again Sunday at Pittsburgh (4-3), it would be the first time the young player tallies three straight 100-yard games.
The Colts (5-2) aren't surprised with his success.
