The IceMen made some noise off the ice on Monday by sending their leading scorer, Brandon Wong to the South Carolina Stingrays for their leading scorer, Braden Pimm.

Coach Al Sims has been frank during his weekly interviews with us that roster changes with this team will be common place as he looks to bring in the right personnel to fit his system, even if that means shipping off fan favorites and productive players like Wong who leaves Evansville as the IceMen’s leader in points with 39 over 50 games. He also ranks second on the team with 16 goals and leads all IceMen players with 23 assists and three game winners.

In exchange for Wong, the IceMen receive Braden Pimm who leaves the Stingrays as their scoring leader with 18 goals and 35 points in 45 games. The rookie joins the IceMen on a four-game point streak with five goals and four assists over that span. He's has dominated in the month of February with six goals and seven assists in eight February games.

Pimm is expected to make his IceMen debut on tomorrow night when they head north to Fort Wayne to take on the Komets. Coverage of that game can be heard on ESPN Evansville 105.3 and online at ESPNevansville.com beginning at 6:20pm.
