With the ECHL trade deadline looming at 3pm on Thursday, the IceMen make a move and acquire defensemen Spencer Humphries from the Greenville Road Warriors in exchange for Thomas Frazee who joined the team on January 28th from Fort Wayne.

When Humphries suits up for Evansville (he's expected to be in the lineup for tonight's home game against Wheeling), there will be at least one familiar face on the ice with him in Goalie Chris Driedger who played three seasons of junior hockey with Humphries as a part of the Tri-City Americans and Calgary Hitmen of the WHL.

The 6’2", 210 pounds British Columbia native Humphries spent last season overseas playing in the Czech Republic for a KHL franchise and a team in the Czech2 league before joining the Road Warriors. He had six goals and five assists in 17 games in the Czech Republic a year ago.

The puck drops at 7:15pm for tonight's home game against the Nailers which will once again feature Donation Night.

Fans can purchase tickets in the name of one of four participating charities: Big Brothers Big Sisters, Habitat for Humanity, Holly’s House, and Vanderburgh County Special Olympics.

A portion of each ticket bought in the name of charity will be given back to that non-profit organization. The charity with the highest number of tickets purchased in their name will also receive a $500 donation from the IceMen. Purchase your tickets by calling the IceMen office at 812-421-GOAL (4625).

Coverage of tonight's game can be heard on ESPN Evansville 105.3 beginning at 7pm, and can also be heard online at ESPNevansville.com.
