IceMen Lose Again at Home

Evansville Icemen
(Evansville Icemen)

The IceMen suffered another home loss Saturday to the Elmira Jackals. The 3-1 loss kept the Ice Men in last place among the 14 teams in the Eastern Conference.

If the IceMen are going to make it into the playoffs in their first year in the ECHL, they’ll have to do so by pulling off a series of road victories. In the final third of the season, the IceMen have eight home dates among the remaining 24 games. The team would have to win 16 of the games to get into the playoffs.

The IceMen, who have won just 25 percent of their road games so far, don’t return to the Ford Center until Feb. 13 against Toledo.
