On the heels of getting goalie Chris Driedger back from the Ottawa Senators, the Evansville IceMen learn their losing Danny Hobbs and Troy Rutowski to the Binghamton Senators of the AHL.

Rutkowski is the only player to appear in every one of the IceMen’s 54 games this season. Hailing from Edmonton, Rutkowski leads Evansville blue liners with 6 goals, 18 assists and, 24 points. In addition to career highs in every offensive category, Rutkowski stands 5th in the ECHL in shots with 129 pucks put on net.

Hobbs leaves Evansville on a two-game point streak. He had a short-handed goal and an assist in the IceMen’s game against Fort Wayne on Wednesday and contributed an assist on Saturday against Cincinnati. The UMASS Amhearst alum leaves Evansville with five goals and four assists in 17 games.

The IceMen are back home inside the Ford Center on Wednesday night to host the Kalamazoo Wings.
