The Evansville IceMen announce they will no longer have the services of leading scorer, forward Patrick Kennedy after he was recalled by the Utica Comets of the American Hockey League (AHL) over the weekend, while also announcing the acquisition of forward Tom Serratore from the Toledo Walleye.

Kennedy's previous experience in Utica includes playing in 40 games, scoring a goal and helping on four others. He joined the IceMen last season, playing in 19 games for Evansville racking up 14 points (five goals, nine assists) in 2013-14. This season, he Dorchester, Ontario native scored four goals and dished out four assists for a team high eight points through six games.

The six-foot-tall, 192-pound Serratore played four games with the Adirondack Phantoms of the AHL last season after graduating from the University of Minnesota following the 2013-14 season. So far this year, he had an assist in three games with the Walleye. The IceMen received future considerations from Toledo in exchange.

The IceMen return to Evansville Tuesday night to host the Orlando Solar Bears on Veteran’s Day. It will be Military Appreciation Night at the Ford Center. All military personnel active or retired will receive a free ticket to the game with military ID.
