The ever-evolving Evansville IceMen roster adds Justin MacDonald, the leading point scorer in North American hockey.

In 46 games with the Watertown Wolves of the Federal Hockey League (FHL), MacDonald has lit the lamp 44 times. Additionally, he's added 58 assists for a total of 102 points.

For perspective, let's compare MacDonald to other players at various levels. The current leading scorer in the NHL is Patrick Kane who currently sits at 64 (38 less than MacDonald). In the AHL, Teemu Pulkkinen stands at 57 points (45 less than MacDonald). Chad Costello, the ECHL's leading scorer gets the closest to MacDonald at 85 points (17 fewer than MacDonald).

Much like Braden Pimm, whom the IceMen acquired from the South Carolina Stingrays in a trade for Brandon Wong Monday, MacDonald is expected to make his ECHL debut with IceMen on Wednesday night when they play the rival Fort Wayne Komets. Coverage of that game can be heard on ESPN Evansville 105.3, and online at ESPNevansville.com.
