The cost of Christmas is going up.

PNC Wealth Management has come up with its annual analysis of the items in the classic carol ‘The Twelve Days of Christmas.’

If you were to splurge on all 364 items included in the song, you’d have to cough up $114,651. That’s a bump of 6.9% from last year. And if you were to purchase them online, you’ll pay nearly $173,000.

Seven of the items on the list cost the same as they did when PNC first did its study back in 1984, while others have jumped, none more than a pear tree. This year, it’ll cost $184 – that’s a far cry from the $19.95 it went for 29 years ago.

The swans are the priciest item, fetching $1,000 apiece.
