The "Every Kid in a Park" pass is meant to encourage Indiana fourth graders and their families to get out and visit more than 2,000 federally managed lands and waters nationwide – including national parks, national forests and marine sanctuaries – for a full year.

These passes are available to current fourth graders now through August 31, 2016...and will then become available to current third graders (for their fourth grade year) on September 1, 2016.

Students need to visit everykidinapark.gov to get the process started and to get their pass. More details, rules and exceptions can be find on the site.
