Have You Ever Streamed a TV Show Over the Internet? — Survey of the Day

It seems likely that in the future we will watch our TV shows over the Internet at the time when want to watch them.

According to a new survey from Harris Interactive of 2,343 adults, the future is now. Fifty-three percent of the poll’s respondents have streamed a TV program online with a connected device at least once. Among 18-to-35-year-olds, 41 percent answered that they typically stream their favorite shows, whereas a similar 44 percent usually watch them on TV.

Overall, 20 percent said streaming TV shows is their preferred method of watching.
