Everyone knows that kids love holidays more than almost anything. If you think stores start stocking Halloween decorations and costumes a little prematurely, ask any six-year-old when he or she starts preparing, and you'll likely hear something like, "Since Easter."

Halloween is the perfect opportunity for parents to spend quality time with their kids and guarantee that everyone has a blast. So this year, try broadening you and your kids' horizons and go beyond the usual store-bought costumes and neighborhood trick-or-treating by scheduling a day packed with spooky fun for all ages.
