Go On This Amazing Visual Trip Through Evansville’s History [Video]

Another year has come and gone, and this is generally the time when folks like to reflect on the year that was. Well how about we reflect on the past 200+ years that...were. I hope you can take a few minutes to watch this video that documents the history of our awesome city.

Before I go any further, I'd just like to say that I am proud to call Evansville my home. That wasn't always the case. Not that I wasn't always proud of this city, but for a long time I didn't refer to it as my home. You see, I was born and raised in and around Indianapolis. I came to Evansville in 1993 to begin my college career at the University of Southern Indiana. And for several years I still referred to Indy as my home...because I always planned on moving back there after college. Well here we are almost 20 years later...and I realize that I have now spent more of my life here in Evansville than I did up in Indy. There is no doubt that this is my home, and as much as I still love Indy, I can't imagine raising my kids anywhere else.
