First we had city engineer Pat Keepes come on to talk about the upcoming public road meetings that give citizens the chance to let city officials know what streets and roads need attention. Next meeting is tomorrow (Thursday) morning from 9am-11am at the C.K. Newsome Community Center. Pat also gives us an update on some upcoming projects including the Oak Hill project, adding a turn lane at Washington and Weinbach and the pedestrian bridge at the Lloyd and Vann.

We were then joined by Janet Effron the Start-Up Weekend. What is it? When is it? Where is it? Who is it for? Essentially, it's a workshop for folks who would like to start their own business. It's a really important weekend for Evansville entrepreneurs...and the good news is there are still openings available. Get more information at evansville.startupweekend.org.
