The Legacies of WWII exhibit will remain at the Evansville Museum of Arts, History & Science through July 2nd. And you're invited to a special presentation on Friday, May 16th.

This admission-free presentation will be given by a Basil Thompson and is titled "The Battle of Britain: Memories Are Made of This." Thompson was a 16-year-old boy living in the town of Weymouth in southern England during this particular battle of World War II. He will recall that aerial battle between the German Luftwaffe and the Royal Air Force. After the war, Mr. Thompson moved to Evansville and has been a part of this community ever since, working at the Courier & Press for 38 years.

Come see this exhibit and hear Basil's amazing story on Friday, May 16th at noon. This presentation is part of Free Fridays at the Museum. Every third Friday of the months, folks can enjoy free admission to the museum from 11am-8pm
