I'm sure we all know someone who has gone through chemotherapy...and through them we know how horrible it can be. It can make you sick, weak, tired and I'm sure it can ruin your appetite.

Gilda's Club and Deaconess Cancer Services are doing something about it. They have invited Chef Ryan Callahan to host a couple of free lectures/sessions to educate folks on how to make food taste great again for people going through chemo.

Cooking for Chemo is scheduled for Thursday, February 28th at 12n and again at 5:30pm. It's a great resource not only for people with cancer, but also caregivers of those with cancer, chefs, dietitians, nutritionists and health care providers. Anyone who would like to learn how to improve the quality of life while going through cancer treatment.

There is no cost to attend but you will need to register in advance. Learn more and get registered here.
