INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Court documents show former Subway spokesman Jared Fogle and his wife finalized their divorce days before the disgraced pitchman was sentenced to more than 15 years in prison for trading in child pornography and paying for sex with underage girls.

Boone County Superior Court documents show a judge granted Fogle and Kathleen McLaughlin a divorce on November 16th. Fogle was sentenced on November 19th.

McLaughlin filed for divorce August 19th, the same day Fogle agreed to plead guilty to one count each of traveling to engage in illicit sexual conduct with a minor and distribution and receipt of child pornography.

McLaughlin's attorney said in court documents that the 38-year-old father of two had played little role in the daily lives of the couple's children's during their five-year marriage.
