'2 Guns' was one of the more pleasant surprises of 2013, a light but very fun action comedy that wrung a surprising amount of entertainment out of Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg as a buddy cop duo. It's he kind of action movie that has no pretensions about what it is - it wants to be a good time and it pulls it off with aplomb.

The film hits Blu-ray, DVD and your usual host of digital outlets today, but if you want a sneak peek at an exclusive deleted scene from the film, you've come to the right place.

The scene doesn't add much to the overall plot (hence it hitting the cutting room floor), but it's an amusing bit of levity that lets Washington have a funny moment or two. The clip finds Washington's undercover DEA agent waking up in the middle of the desert (after being shot by Wahlberg's character) with a young boy, perched atop a horse, pointing a rifle at him. The armed kid and the unarmed fed proceed to exchange words, including a thinly veiled threat or two.

It's not often you get to see an actor of Washington's caliber and toughness get stared down by a child, so this deleted scene is worth checking out for that alone. We can't help but hope the Blu-ray has a similar scene where a gun-toting young girl puts Mark Wahlberg in his place. Probably not, but we can hope, right?
