DESCRIPTION:The Victory Theatre and the Main Street Walkway will be the host of the 12th Annual Main Street Trick or Treat on Sunday\, October 30! SMG with KISS\, 103GBF\, WKDQ\, WJLT\, WBKR\, and WOMI\, will provide a fun and safe environment for trick-or-treaters from Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard to Second Street. Bring your little ghosts and goblins downtown from noon – 3pm for an afternoon of trick or treating. The kids can play games and win prizes\, pick up free treats\, have their faces painted and receive a Kids I-D packet.    Come in your scariest\, most creative or patriotic costume so they can enter the costume contest at 1:00pm at the stage located at 6th & Main in front of the Victory Theatre. Winners for all 0-12 age groups! Participating sponsors will provide treats for all the ghosts and goblins.    Coloring Contest Sheets are also available at The Centre\, Victory Theatre\, Townsquare Media and CBS WEVV44 offices. You can also print off the page by clicking here. DESCRIPTION:  For this upcoming Holiday Season\, the Townsquare Media Radio Stations (WKDQ\, WJLT\, WDKS\, WGBF-FM\, WGBF-AM) will team up with Henderson Chevrolet\, Buick\, GMC and the 911 Gives Hope charity to present the 3rd annual “911 Gives Hope for the Holidays.” Last year we successfully filled a 53 foot trailer with toys that were distributed to the Children’s Wards at local hospitals. This year all 5 radio stations will again partner together for a mass broadcast “Radiothon” to urge the public to donate toys\, clothing\, gift certificates and more to Children’s Wards at Deaconess Hospital\, St. Mary’s Hospital\, Methodist Hospital\, Evansville Psychiatric Children’s Center and the Ronald McDonald House.  The Radiothon will begin 5am on Friday\, December 2nd and will run thru 6pm on Sunday\, December 4th. The radio stations will broadcast live from the Wal-Mart on Burkhardt the entire weekend with additional broadcasts\, live from Henderson Chevrolet in Henderson\, KY. Local Fire Departments\, Police Departments\, Sheriff’s Deparments and AMR will be in attendance all weekend in an effort to fill another 53 foot trailer. DESCRIPTION:As visitors drive through Ritzy’s Fantasy of Lights in Garvin Park THIS WED.\, DEC. 14 ONLY\, 5:00-9:00 P.M.\, they will be greeted by members of the Evansville IceMen\, Evansville’s pro hockey team.    IceMen players will hand out game schedules as they greet each vehicle paying admission to the “magical mile of holiday lights”\, which is a major fund-raising event for Easter Seals.  Vehicles should enter Garvin Park using the North Main entrance\, the official starting point for Ritzy’s Fantasy of Lights.         In addition to Wednesday evening’s appearance\, the IceMen are also supporting Ritzy’s Fantasy of Lights by providing all visitors with an opportunity for discounted tickets to an IceMen game at Ford Center.  With each paid admission to the drive-through light display through Jan. 1\, visitors receive a certificate good for $4 off tickets to the IceMen’s “Pack the House Night” on Jan. 14 or “Home Finale/Fan Appreciation Night” on March 23.    Ritzy’s Fantasy of Lights is open nightly through Jan. 1 in Evansville’s Garvin Park.  Admission per vehicle is $7 for up to 6 people; $10 for 7-14 people; and $25 for 15 people or more.  All proceeds fund physical\, occupational and speech therapy for tri-state children and adults with disabilities served by the Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center.

DESCRIPTION:The Evansville Radio Control Model Airplane Club is hosting their annual Open House today from 9am-3pm at the Jack Charlier R/C Field. The Open House gives club members a chance to show off the hobby to the public and encourage other people to join the hobby.    Durning the day there will demonstrations of helicopters\, warbirds\, jets and other aircraft\, participants will have the opportunity to fly a remote control plane\, (at no charge) and find out more about the hobby. There will also be a combat plane fly off where up to a dozen planes will be in the air at the same time performing full contact dogfights.    To get to the field go North on Greenriver Road\, then turn right on Millersburg Road\, then turn right on County Line Road. If the weather is bad on Saturday\, the event will be moved to Sunday\, June 3.    The Evansville RC Airplane club has more than 150 members ranging in age from 6 to 80+ years young. All elementary and middle school students who show their school spirit by wearing a shirt with their school's name or logo get in free!    The night will also include prize drawings and giveaways including Mater Dei t-shirts\, spirit towels\, frisbees\, and iTunes gift cards along with a half court and three point shooting contest for the middle school students\, and a paper airplane toss for the elementary students during halftime of the varsity game!

SUMMARY:St. Agnes Summer Social
DESCRIPTION:St. Agnes Church\, 1600 Glendale Avenue\, will hold its annual Summer Social on the weekend of June 1st and 2nd. We will be serving a Pork Chop Dinner Saturday evening from 5-7pm. While at the social your fun will continue with children's games\, children's social\, wonderful food booths\, and a variety of raffle booths. Along with other booths of fun we will have inflatables for both kids and adults to enjoy.  Sunday will feature Chicken and Ham lunch serving from 11-1:30pm. Carry outs will be available. The social concludes on Sunday evening at 9pm with the drawing of the winners from the $7\,750 in raffle prizes. Come and join the fun!
