The Evansville ThunderBolts, new members of the elite junior hockey league, the NA3HL, open their first-ever full training camp this Thursday, August 20th at Swonder Ice Arena.

Thunderbolts General Manager & Head Coach Scott Fankhouser will greet some 30-roster candidates when the team hits the ice for its initial session at 8:30 am.

The morning workout is slated for 75-minutes from 8:30 am to 9:45 am. This will be followed by off-ice training which will commence promptly at 10:30 am and run for one-hour until 11:30 am, also at Swonder.

The ThunderBolts open their season on the road against the St. Louis Jr. Blues on September 4th and 5th.

The first ThunderBolts home stand will be September 18th and 19th at Swonder Ice Arena.
