This May, the Evansville Museum of Arts, History and Science will host an Artist-In-Residence with master artist Robert Mars. During this time, guests and aspiring artists will have the chance to meet and speak with Mr. Mars.

The residence begins with a public reception on May 5th. Mars will be available to talk to guests about his art and the exhibition. Admission is $5 to the general public and FREE for Patron Level members and above.

Free Friday Lecture

Mars will host Free Friday Lecture on Friday, May 6th. He will share the story of how he started his journey into the art world. This lecture is free, and RSVPs can be made by visiting the link below or calling 812-425-2406.

Artist-In-Residence Workshop

These workshops will take place from May 9-12. During the workshops, students will be taught by Master Artist Robert Mars. He will teach the multiple processes that  has crafted over the past 16 years. The workshop will discuss how Mars landed on each process and how he integrates them together to make a final piece of art. Tickets can be purchased here.

Thursday After Rush Hour

Museum patrons will have another opportunity to meet Robert Mars after rush hour on Thursday, May 12th from 5pm-7pm. Take advantage of this chance to explore the exhibition of his work and ask the artist questions about his process. FREE with Museum Admission!!!
