Evansville IceMen Sign Rookie Forward

The Evansville IceMen announce over the weekend they've signed rookie forward, Tom Hartnett from Wesleyan University.

The Brookville, New York native as named an Assistant Captain in his senior year and scored 30 goals in his four years at Wesleyan, with his best season taking place in 2012-13 when he scored 10 goals and recorded 12 assists.

He'll have a familiar face welcoming him to his new team as he attended camp with the Albany Devils of the AHL alongside IceMen teammate Myles Bell.

The IceMen return home to the Ford Center on Wednesday night to face the Greenville Road Warriors after dropping two straight to the Elmira Jackals over the weekend. Wednesday's game begins at 7:15pm, and will feature a celebration of Assistant Coach and IceMen legend Josh Beaulieu as the team holds a retirement party in his honor.
