The Evansville IceMen returned forward Jordan Sims to the Peoria Riverman of the SPHL. The Rivermen had loaned Sims to the IceMen in early February and have now recalled the rookie for the SPHL playoffs.

The son of IceMen head coach, Al Sims, scored two goals and passed out four assists in 19 games with Evansville. He earned his first ECHL point on Feb. 8 against Fort Wayne.

Sims netted his first ECHL goal on Pi Day (3/14/15) against the Orlando Solar Bears. The UConn alum leaves the IceMen on a high note after potting another goal in Saturday’s contest against Florida.

On Sunday, the IceMen return to the Ford Center for their home finale against the South Carolina Stingrays. The final IceMen home game of the season begins at 5pm. The Zooperstars will perform during intermission and entertain fans at the game.

The first 1,000 kids age 12 & under will receive free mini sticks courtesy of TRCI. Fans will also get to take 40% off merchandise at the team store inside the Ford Center. Plus the Boom Squad will perform outside the Ford Center before doors open from 3pm-4pm.

It will also be another Subway Sunday. Fans can get a ticket, a t-shirt, a popcorn and a soda for just $19. Book your Subway Sunday package by calling an IceMen ticket executive at 812-421-GOAL.
