In advance of the start of the 2014-2015 season Saturday night, the Evansville IceMen release their finalized roster.

As we discussed with IceMen Head Coach, Dwight Mullins during In the Crease on Wednesday, finalizing a roster is probably the least favorite thing a coach has to do. In order to get down to the leagues required number of players, they have to tell a few guys their dream of playing professional hockey isn't going to happen — for now at least.

22 players made the cut to take the ice against the Gwinnett Gladiators Saturday night including 12 forwards, eight defensemen, and two goaltenders. Only nine of which played for the IceMen in 2013-14. The complete roster looks like this:

  • #2 Troy Rutkowski (Defenseman)
  • #4 Zach Sternberg (Defenseman)
  • #5 Ty Wishart (Defenseman)
  • #7 Randy Cure (Defenseman)
  • #9 Dirk Southern (Forward)
  • #11 Kale Kerbashian (Forward)
  • #15 Nathan Moon (Forward)
  • #17 Matt Lowry (Forward)
  • #18 Andre Bouvet-Morrissette (Forward)
  • #19 Danny Hobbs (Forward)
  • #21 Antoine Corbin (Defenseman)
  • #22 Brandon Wong (Forward)
  • #23 Zach Currie (Defenseman)
  • #25 Patrick Kennedy (Forward)
  • #26 Donnie Harris (Defenseman)
  • #28 Guy Lepine (Defenseman)
  • #29 Jakub Culek (Forward)
  • #92 Peter Sakaris (Forward)
  • #35 Cal Heeter (Goaltender)
  • #36 Chris Driedger (Goaltender)

Single game tickets are available now at the Ford Center box office between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., or online through Ticketmaster.
