2/25/13 12:00 PM:

No threats found during search for person with a gun at Day School. Evansville Day School was placed on lockdown after a call was made to 911 saying there was a person in the school with a gun. There were no reports of shots being fired.

Officers from the Evansville Police Department and Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office responded to the call and secured the campus. A sweep of the school was conducted and no threats were found.

The lockdown was lifted after officer determined the school was safe. An investigation is underway to determine why the initial call was made to 911. - Evansville Police Department

2/25/13 @ 11:32 AM Parents are picking up children from Evansville Day School. No word yet on an official statement from EPD.

2/25/13 @ 11:20 AM Officer said as of this point the phone call reporting the gun at the school & the bank robbery have not been connected.

2/25/13 @ 10:58 AM: Parents are being asked to gather at Integra Bank next door for updates.

2/25/13 @ 10:45 AM Police are telling parents that a caller tipped police of a gun threat. All children are locked in their classrooms and everyone in the building is safe. **This is not the official statement by the EPD at this time.

2/25/13 @ 10:33 AM - Officer reporting to dispatch that the school is secure, kids are all okay. They continue to search/investigate.

2/25/13 @ 10:30 AM: Currently Evansville Day School is on lock-down. According to Evansville Watch, a community Facebook page:
