Air travelers in Evansville won't have to worry about the weather so much when new jet bridges are built onto the gates in the next few months.

Just under $2 million will be spent to design and build 4 jet bridges, which will protect passengers from the elements when they board and deplane.

Signs will go up in the next few days letting passengers know the bridges are coming. Airport officials hope to have them finished by summer.
