Mayor Winnecke invites the community to join him at Wesselman Park on Saturday, April 18, from 9am-11amfor this month’s Energize Evansville “Fitness in the Park” free workout. This month’s program will feature Hip-Hop Line Dancing. The session will begin with a Healthier U Walk in partnership with Deaconess Health System. Wesselman Park is located at 551 N. Boeke Road.

Instructors will lead participants through different variations of each exercise so the exercise session is fun for all fitness levels. Everyone is encouraged to exercise at their own pace.

“Fitness in the Park” is a health and fitness program launched by Mayor Winnecke as part of his Energize Evansville initiative to give individuals support to transform their lives thru physical activity. The program is held the third Saturday of each month from 9am-11am at a different city park or venue and features local fitness experts leading group exercises for all ages.

The Energize Evansville May 16th exercise session will be held at Garvin Park, 1600 N. Main St. The Mayor has teamed-up with Deaconess Health System which will host a one-hour Healthier U Walk.
