Easter Seals Golf Scramble at Quail Crossing
Here’s another chance for you to hit the links for a great cause. The 13th annual Wesselman’s Supermarkets Golfing Fore Kids, to benefit Easter Seals, is coming up on Thursday, September 27th at Quail Crossing Golf Club.
I’ve been to this event for the past several years, and I can tell you that it is one of the best scrambles every year. In addition to being at a great course, it’s a scramble to benefit local children and adults with disabilities served by the Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center. With your support, you can help a child with autism hug his parents…or help a preschooler with developmental delays prepare for kindergarten…or enable a child with cerebral palsy to take their first steps…or even allow an adult who’s had a stroke to regain their independence.
USI head basketball coach Rodney Watson will once again be the honorary chairman.
You can choose from two starting times…at 7:30am or 1pm. The scramble includes breakfast, lunch, dinners, awards, goody bags and a silent auction.
