Ever since series 6 finale "The Wedding of River Song," 'Doctor Who' fans have been asking themselves a question that had surprisingly stared them in the face all along: "Doctor Who?" That ultimate question may finally be laid to rest, as the BBC has announced the title for the upcoming series 7 finale, ominously titled "The Name of the Doctor."

In addition to the title, the BBC's official poster for the episode reveals that Alex Kingston will return as River Song, while the synopsis reads "Someone is kidnapping the Doctor’s friends, leading him towards the one place in all of time and space that he should never go." In releasing the poster, BBC America said of the finale “Stand by for something that you might always have believed to be impossible…”
