'Watchmen's' tragic vigilante is easily our favorite character from the comic and the movie, and we bet you'd never guess the cosplayer behind this excellent take on the hero is a lady.

We love Rule 63 cosplay around these parts -- the rule stating that every character has an opposite-gendered counterpart. And what's extra special about this 'Watchmen' cosplay is that Rorschach wears a mask, making the gender of this cosplayer completely irrelevant. Still, you don't see a lot of ladies cosplaying as male characters who wear masks because who wants to hide their pretty faces?

Maja Cronvall is a Swedish cosplayer who isn't as concerned with her own appearance as she is with the appearance of her costumes, and isn't that what cosplay is about? Putting together rad getups and having fun? Yup! Maja, aka BleedingHeartworks, is an artist and photographer who's designed some great costumes based on characters as varied as Fix-It Felix from 'Wreck-It Ralph' to the very feminine Black Cat of 'Spider-Man.'

But this Rorschach cosplay is our favorite, and we hope you like it, too. Check out some pics of Maja as Rorschach below, or head to her DeviantArt page for more.
