‘Cookies for Coats’ Bake Sale This Saturday Afternoon

Diamond Valley Federal Credit Union will host a bake sale benefiting the Santa Clothes Club, on Saturday, September 19th from 2p-4p at their East Side Branch located at 5300 Vogel Road.

Cookies for Coats features homemade baked treats provided by employees of Diamond Valley FCU. All proceeds go to the Santa Clothes Club to help provide winter clothing for local children in need. Everyone is invited to participate in this community event.

Diamond Valley is a longtime supporter of the Santa Clothes Club. Last year, Diamond Valley raised $6000 through a variety of philanthropic endeavors. This year, with the help of “Cookies for Coats”, Diamond Valley hopes to increase its donation to $8000. Diamond Valley’s employee committee is responsible for fundraising and finding ways to participate in the Santa Clothes Club events. Last year, Diamond Valley employees worked the Santa Clothes Club’s annual December telethon, and there are plans to participate again this year. Diamond Valley also sells tickets for the September Spaghetti Dinner hosted at Biaggi’s Restorante Italiano. Employee jeans days and buckets in the lobbies also provide ways for Diamond Valley to support the Santa Clothes Club.
