Topic:

Conflict Management

Details:

In the advertising industry, we run across a lot of different kinds of people. Differing personalities are what makes our industry great…and difficult at times. How do you deal with difficult personalities? How do you communicate conflict? In a service industry like ours, how do you agree to disagree and still move forward on a project or a problem?

Join us for our May Luncheon as Dr. Zach Henning, Assistant Professor of Communication Studies at the University of Southern Indiana, presents how to approach conflict in the workplace and dealing with difficult personalities. Since 2002, he has developed and taught college courses in Persuasion, Public Speaking, Small Group Communication, Interpersonal Communication, Business & Professional Communication, Gender Communication, Organizational Communication, and Training & Development. Combine that with his 19 years of workforce experience in various fields and his research studies, he is sure to enlighten any workplace communication situation.

Free for MEMBERS, $15 for non-members at Casino Aztar Conference Center.

Located in the Walnut B room, doors will open with networking at 11:30AM, and the presentation & lunch will start promptly at 12PM.
