After being pulled over early Monday morning, and failing on-site Breathalyzer which resulted in his arrest, the Colts cut troubled second-year wide receiver, Da'Rick Rogers.

He joined the team last season as an undrafted free agent, and showed promise as a talented option for the team when called upon. At 6'3", he provided a tall target for quarterback Andrew Luck in five games last year after the receiver corp was decimated by injuries.

This most recent run-in with the law took place late Sunday night / early Monday morning his car was spotted by an officer on the IUPUI campus in Indianapolis swerving onto and over the center line, according to the Indianapolis Star newspaper. He was placed under arrest after blowing between a .8 and .14 on the Breathalyzer. The legal limit in Indiana is .8.

Unfortunately, this isn't Rogers' first run in with the law. He was dismissed by the University of Tennessee after issues with marijuana as well as disorderly conduct and resisting arrest charges as part of a bar fight in 2010.

Despite being the roster since the start of the season, Rogers had been a "healthy scratch" for the team due to their depth at the receiver position with T.Y. Hilton, the return of Reggie Wayne, plus the additions of Hakeem Nicks, and Donte Moncrief.
