Christmas is in the rear view mirror, and the time has come to focus our attention on saying goodbye to the dumpster fire that is 2016, and hello to what will hopefully be a much better 2017. If you're a parent like me, your New Year's party options may be limited if you can't find someone to keep an eye on your kids (or staying up until Midnight is much harder than it once was). Fortunately, the Children's Museum of Evansville is offering their annual "Happy Noon Year's Party" this Saturday, and everyone is invited!

The party kicks off at 9:00 a.m. this Saturday morning and will feature a dance party, crafts, special activities, along with appearances from both the Star Wars group, the 501st Legion, and Animal Tales, LLC, an educational group that teaches kids about a wide variety of animals through live demonstrations with the animals themselves.

Of course, no New Year's party is complete without a ceremonial ball drop, which will also be a part of the festivities at Noon, and will come complete with noise makers so everyone can literally "ring in" the New Year.

The normal admission price of $8.00 lets you and your family enjoy the fun!
