Christmas is really very officially over and that makes me sad. When Santa comes and all the gifts are opened, there's nothing left to look forward to. Right? Not necessarily!

Last year, we waited until the last minute to book a Polar Express Ride at the French Lick Railway so we had to go after Christmas. It was awesome because we could really sit back and enjoy it. We didn't have anywhere else to be and it extended the magic of the season a little bit longer.

Here are some other things you can enjoy that will keep the holidays alive bit longer:

Polar Express at the French Lick Scenic Railway - HURRY only a couple tickets left!

Once the train is underway, the conductor will punch your ticket as the book, The Polar Express, is read aloud and enhanced with song and dance by our crew, with a special Cookie & Hot Chocolate presentation, just like in the movie! When the train pulls into the North Pole, we pick up Santa Claus himself and he presents each child with their own "last gift of the season." The last rides will be this Friday and Saturday!
Experience the shining story of Rudolph told in brilliant LED lights! The Santa Claus Land of Lights is a 1.2 mile Drive-Through Family Christmas Light Adventure located inside
Lake Rudolph Campground & RV Resort through Jan 1.
The museum is still decorated in traditional Victorian decor through this Saturday, Dec 31. Tours begin in the Visitor's Center, located in the Carriage House behind the Reitz Home. Tours are approximately one hour in length. Visitors will go through 12 rooms on two floors of the museum. The first tour begins at 11:00 a.m. to and last tour is at 2:30 p.m.
