Children’s Museum of Evansville – June Calendar of Events

June is a busy month at the Koch Family Children's Museum of Evansville. See the schedule of events below.

May 30th

Memorial Day – The Children’s Museum of Evansville will be CLOSED for the holiday.

May 31st – June 3rd

Little Ducklings: Tape Bags, 10:30 am & 12:30 pm - What can you make with tape? Explore many colors and patterns in masking tape and paper bags. How will you use your bag? Activities are included with general admission and no registration is required.

May 31st – June 4th

Pop-Up: 3D Sewing, 2:30 pm - Use yarn and pipe cleaners on plastic canvas to make a three dimensional sculpture. Pop-up activities are included with general admission and no registration is required.

June 2nd

Story Time Spot, 10:30 am - Join us for story time designed for toddlers and young children.
Free Family Night, 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm - Admission is FREE from 5-8 p.m.

June 3rd

Kids’ Day at the Downtown EVV Farmer’s Market 8:00am – 1:00pm - Visit cMoe’s hands-on activity booth while you’re picking up fresh fruits, veggies and more in downtown Evansville!

June 5th

Educators’ Appreciation Day - Every educator and one child admitted free with valid Educator ID.

June 7th – 10th

Little Ducklings: Outdoor Painting, 10:30 am & 12:30 pm - Let’s go outside and get creative! Use plain water to decorate the building and chalk paint to decorate the sidewalk.. Activities are included with general admission and no registration is required.

June 7th – 11th

Pop-Up: Blanket Forts, 2:30 pm - Experience every child’s dream as we construct giant blanket forts! Take advantage of cMoe’s Freedom gallery as we learn the ins and outs of design and construction. Pop-up activities are included with general admission and no registration is required.

June 9th

Story Time Spot, 10:30 am - Join us for story time designed for toddlers and young children.

June 10th

HAPPY BIRTHDAY cMoe!, 12:30 pm – Join cMoe on the 10th of each month in 2016 to celebrate our 10th birthday! Sing Happy Birthday and a treat of Gigi’s cake!

June 11th

Way Late Play Date, 7:00pm - Midnight - Way Late Play Date, cMoe’s signature adult fundraiser, is fun filled opportunity for adults to experience the museum and be a kid again! Enjoy this fun evening in cMoe’s outdoor "Playground" as we dance in the streets, play team trivia, laugh 'til it hurts with comedian Gavin Eddings, lip sync battle, and of course explore all of cMoe's galleries with other “Big Kids”. Much like your mom, we've thought of everything you'll need to have a nice play date.
Tickets are $30 per person or $300 for a Play Group of Eight. The group package includes 8 reserved seats in the outdoor playground in front of stage, complimentary drink ticket for each guest, and table placard. All guests must be 21 years of age or older. Reservations suggested.

June 14th – 17th

Little Ducklings: Father’s Day Gifts, 10:30 am & 12:30 pm - Dads help build a family. Show yours how much you love him by building him a collage of building materials – wood, screws, nuts and bolts. Activities are included with general admission and no registration is required.

June 14th – 18th

Pop-Up: Balloon Rockets, 2:30pm - Build and race your own balloon rocket as we explore air pressure and aerodynamics. Pop-up activities are included with general admission and no registration is required.

June 16th

Story Time Spot, 10:30 am - Join us for story time designed for toddlers and young children.

June 19th

Military Appreciation Day - All military personnel plus one child admitted free the third Sunday of every month!

June 21st – 24th

Little Ducklings: National Week of Making, 10:30 am & 12:30 pm - We are little makers at cMoe. Come explore various materials and let your imagination fly! What can you make? Activities are included with general admission and no registration is required.

June 21st – 25th

Pop-Up: National Week of Making, 2:30 pm - Come tinker with us. Exercise your imagination and create your own invention! Pop-up activities are included with general admission and no registration is required.

June 23rd

Story Time Spot, 10:30 am - Join us for story time designed for toddlers and young children.

June 25th

Member Appreciation Weekend - Join us all weekend long as we celebrate cMoe

June 26th

Members! Refreshments, special activities, and discounts will be extended to all members.

June 28th – July 1st

Little Ducklings: International Mud Day, 10:30 am & 12:30 pm - Let’s go outside and get our fingers dirty! Dig in the mud to find treasure and paint with “mud” to make a memory to take home. Activities are included with general admission and no registration is required.

June 28th – July 2nd

Pop-Up: International Mud Day, 2:30 pm - Get your hands in some mud and make something to take home with air-dry clay. Pop-up activities are included with general admission and no registration is required.

June 30th

Story Time Spot, 10:30 am - Join us for story time designed for toddlers and young children.

cMoe Hours of Operation: Tuesday through Thursday: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday through Saturday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday: Noon to 5 p.m., Monday: CLOSED. Holiday exceptions may apply. Admission Information: 18 Months and over - $8, Members are Free.
