EPD Announces Traffic Changes for West Side Nut Club Fall Festival

The 95th annual West Side Nut Club Fall Festival runs from October 3rd through October 8th, meaning thousands upon thousands of people will descend upon Franklin Street to enjoy a wide variety of food, rides, and entertainment. It also means traffic will be more congested than normal in that area, which has prompted the Evansville Police Department to make a couple of tweaks you need to be aware of.

Vintage Footage of Opryland USA Theme Park from 1988 [Video]

Oh my goodness!  This video brings back a ton of childhood memories. Last year here at WBKR.com, I shared a story called Remembering Opryland USA: The Home of American Music.  That blog contained some vintage footage of the park.  Thanks to YouTube, I found some more.  Check this out.  It's a video from the summer of 1988 courtesy of Derek Fugate.  You're going to see footage of some of your favorite rides and attractions from Opryland, including the famous Wabash Cannonball.
