Castle High School Lockdown Lifted

UPDATE: The lockdown at Castle Hight School has been lifted. Authorities detained a young man off campus after threats were made on Facebook.

Previously: Castle High School is under a precautionary lockdown this morning because of a Facebook threat made by a Castle student.

Warrick County School Superintendent Brad Schneider believes that the student has been located by law enforcement and is not oin school property.

The school is following normal protocol in implementing the lockdown which prevents anyone from entering or leaving the school. They will remain under lockdown until they hear from law enforcement about the whereabouts of the student.

No specifics about the threat have been released. We will continue to update this story.
