The Castle High School chapter of the Future Farmers of America (FFA) will host a pet supply drive February 15th through the 26th with all donations being turned over to local humane societies and animal rescues.

According to chapter spokesperson, Abigail Barton, the supply drive is part of the chapter's annual FFA Week which features annual fundraisers, community service opportunities, and raising general awareness for the national FFA organization.

This year's pet supply drive will give the community the opportunity to make donations at several locations around Newburgh and Evansville's east side including Newburgh Schnucks, Tristate Vet and Pet, the Newburgh Pet Food Center, Kenny Kent Toyota, Warrick Vet Clinic Newburgh plaza, Pump It Up, Park Place Apartments, Priceless Foods, and Castle High School.

The group is looking for everything from dog and cat food, treats, new toys, beds, litter, blankets and leashes.

All donations will be distributed to local shelters such as Warrick Humane Society, Vanderburgh Humane Society, and It Takes a Village upon completion of the drive on February 26th.
