Car Seat Safety Check

Coming up the week of Septemeber 18th, it is National Child Passenger Safety Week. In honor of that week,  St. Mary’s Hospital for Women & Children along with the Safe Kids Vanderburgh/Warrick County coalition is hosting two FREE car seat clinics for the community.

To make sure your car seat is safely installed simply stop by during the one of the two sessions (times/dates below) to have your child seat checked by our certified car seat technicians. They will ensure the seat is installed for the maximum safety of your little passengers.

Session #1 Wednesday, September 14 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
St. Mary’s Hospital for Women & Children (3700 Washington Avenue, Evansville)

Session #2 Wednesday, September 21 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Little Lambs (602 SE 2^nd Street, Evansville)

Also during the two sessions, families are encouraged to attend the educational event to have their car seats checked for safety, learn about proper installation and use, as well as to ensure their child is in the proper restraint for their size and weight. Children who use the car seat must be present.
