Burger Chain Looking at Possible West Side Evansville Location

We do love our restaurants in the Evansville area, and it looks like hamburger fans on the City's west side will have a new option to try when the craving strikes with the possible edition of a new Freddie's Frozen Custard and Steakburgers on Pearl Drive.

Local Facebook page, Evansville 411, who monitors commercial construction applications filed with the Indiana Department of Homeland Security (IDHS), was the first to report the possible expansion Tuesday afternoon:

As noted in the post, the Wichita, Kansas-based chain is looking to take over the lot that served as the home of the west side Show Me's location for a number of years, and has had a location on North Green River Road in front of Menards for a few years.

The form filed with the IDHS does not specify whether or not Freddie's will look to remodel the existing building, or if it will be torn down in favor of a new structure.
