On Friday, May 29, 2015, members of the Boys & Girls Club of Evansville (700 Bellemeade Avenue) and nearly 50 team members from Springleaf Financial Services will participate in a neighborhood clean-up.

“We continue to invest in our kids and our community and are grateful for the support of Springleaf Financial Services. Each year, Springleaf continues to partner with the kids in a community clean-up as we work together to improve our city for everyone,” said Ron Ryan, Executive Director, Boys & Girls Club of Evansville. “We are grateful to be able to show our Club members the importance of supporting our community.”

Mayor Lloyd Winnecke will kick off the event at 11:10 am. Then, Club members and Springleaf team members will spend approximately 45 minutes walking in small groups in the neighborhood surrounding the Club to pick up trash.

The event will conclude with a free lunch for Club members, staff and volunteers, courtesy of Springleaf Financial Services. This is the sixth year for the event, which also includes free t-shirts for all participants.

“We are proud to be engaged citizens in the communities where we live and work,” said Vinnie Ciuffetelli, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Springleaf. “By partnering with the Boys and Girls Club of Evansville, our team members show their support for a great organization and the youth in our community.”

The Boys & Girls Club of Evansville offers daily access to a broad range of programs designed to drive positive outcomes for youth and reinforce necessary life skills. Continued support from the Evansville community enables the Boys & Girls Club to stay uniquely positioned to make a significance difference in the lives of youth.
