Blue Angels Will Be Back in the Sky in 2014 – Evansville Not on the Schedule

The sequester forced the Blue Angels to cancel their appearance at the Evansville Shrinersfest this summer and, even though they will be flying again in 2014, it is unlikely that they will be flying on the Evansville Riverfront.

The Blue Angels originally announced its show schedule for the 2014 season at the annual International Council of Airshows convention in Dec. 11, 2012.

According to the Blue Angels website they are scheduled to perform 65 shows at 34 locations throughout the U.S. in 2014. But the schedule does not include "make goods" for communities like Evansville that were cancelled in 2013.
