Bigger is Not Always Better – An Open Letter to Apple

Dear Apple,

So, first off let me say thank you for creating the most wonderful, awesome and amazing phone I've ever had the pleasure of using. I'm on my third iPhone and I still use my first one as a music player at home because it still works. I love the simplicity, functionality and overall toughness of the iPhone. (The same qualities of a good man, mind you!)

HOWEVER, have you completely forgotten that probably 50% (if not more) of your consumers are women? I ask this because every new phone that comes out gets bigger and bigger and as a woman, I can assure you that bigger is NOT always better (when it comes to your phone).

I currently have the iPhone 5C but my favorite size was the iPhone 3. It fit in my palm and in my Vera Bradley wristlet perfectly. My co-worker showed me his new iPhone 6 Plus and it was literally bigger than my hand. Literally! What am I going to do with that?! I can assure you that a belt clip will NOT go with my patent leather heels and slinky black dress. And, I don't want to look like I have an iPad up to my head. I just don't!

So, dearest Apple, please consider the dainty lady hands who long for a small phone to coddle lovingly in your next thinktank session.
