Right Pawed or Left Pawed Pets?
Dogs and cats can have preferential paws, just like you and I are right or left handed. So, just for kicks, Jenny and I experimented on our own dogs and cat to find out if they actually were right pawed or left pawed.

Cockroaches Ready to Save Human Lives!
We think of these little, fast running animals as disgusting, gross germ-carrying bugs, but now they're being elevated to a service that can help save human lives. Scientists at North Carolina State University have (reportedly) created an electronic backpack that a roach can wear. Why would anyone want to develop a cockroach backpack?
Believe It or Not, Electroshock Therapy Making a Comeback for Alzheimer’s Patients
Remember the (good?) old days when electricity was used for treating all sorts of behavioral disorders? Eventually most of us came to think of that sort of "treatment" as cruel and barbaric, but now electricity is once again being used for treatment of Alzheimer's and similar dementias. Will the Telephone Book Soon Become Extinct?
Face it...with our electronic devices in our hip pockets, purses and sitting on our desks, the telephone book may become obsolete. How easy is it to use our phones and other computers to find information on the Internet. When was the last time you looked inside a phone book?
Lack of Good Sleep Affects Your Health
I have to admit that I'm not a good sleeper and I don't usually get enough of it either. Ask me...does it affect my mood and my attitude? Oh, yeah. Does it affect how I feel physically? Oh, yeah. Lack of sleep and/or good sleep affects us all, even if we don't realize it. So what can we do about it?
