Acting on tips from informants, soldiers in Colombia have seized a 99-foot fully submersible submarine that was intended to be used for drug smuggling.
The fiberglass boat had enough room for eight tons of drugs and a crew of six, and enough power to make the eight-or- nine-day trip from Columbia to Mexico totally underwater.
