Apple Oops – CEO Tim Cook Apologizes for Lousy iPhone Map App

Looks like even Apple gets it wrong sometimes – but at least they’re upfront about it.  The computer giant admits the new Map App in its iOS 6 software is – well – a bad apple at the moment.

Apple CEO Tim Cook apologized publicly on the Apple website today for the iOS 6 Map Applications problems.  He also offered some alternative Apps for consumers to use until they get the iPhone Map App fixed.

The new Map App uses Tom Tom technology in lieu of Google Maps.
