The Sunday TV landscape looks bleak for the moment without 'The Walking Dead' airing new episodes until February, but will the cable network score another hit with its latest period effort, 'Turn'? The Revolutionary War drama starring Jamie Bell has loaded up its second trailer, but is it a hit or a miss?

Showing off a bit more footage than the brief spot we'd seen earlier, the latest 'Turn' trailer focuses more heavily on Bell's leading man, Abe Woodhull, who puts his life on the line to establish America's first real spy ring against the British. Based on Alexander Rose’s book, ‘Washington’s Spies,’ written by showrunner Craig Silverstein (‘Nikita’) and executive produced by ‘Bones’ Barry Josephson, ‘Turn’ is set in 1778 and follows Woodhull as he bands together with a group of friends to form The Culper Ring, an unlikely group of spies who turn the tide in America’s fight for independence.

In addition to Bell, the 2014 drama stars Meegan Warner as Mary Woodhull, Daniel Henshall as Caleb Brewster, Burn Gorman (‘Pacific Rim‘) as Major Hewlett, Seth Numrich as Benjamin Tallmadge, Heather Lind (‘Boardwalk Empire‘) as Anna Strong, Kevin McNally (‘Pirates of the Caribbean‘) as Richard Woodhull, Angus Macfadyen (‘Braveheart’) as Robert Rodgers, and J.J. Feild as Major John André.

Take a good look at AMC's next drama 'Turn' in the trailer above, and tell us in the comments if you'll check out the 2014 premiere. Will it be the next 'Breaking Bad,' or closer to the success of 'Hell on Wheels'?
