A few weeks ago, Project Reveal unveiled Erin McCracken and Stacey Godbold's photo exhibit Embrace Your Body. Women from all around the community, armed only with minimal dress, allowed the world to see them through Erin and Stacey's beautiful photography.

We wanted to make sure we had a diverse group of women for the project. We wanted all women to look at our photos from the Embrace Your Body campaign and feel they could relate. I started with women I knew as well as reaching out to women's organizations and it grew from there.

This was a new thing for every one I'd talked to. None had ever been approached about getting photographed in their underoos (or at least not that they talked to me about!) So it was hard sell at times, but we were honored and humbled that 40 women believed in us and got on board. We ended up with a great group of women of all ages, sizes and ethnicities. I'm so proud of the finished product! - Stacey Godbold

Stacey even allowed herself to be photographed with her adorable triplets. Stacey, though, overcame her own body perceptions.

Embracing my body has been a mental, emotional and spiritual change for me. I had to change my thinking. This doesn’t just hold true for me though, it was a concept illustrated during our recent photo shoot for the Embrace Your Body campaign. We have one body – it’s the vessel through which we live all of life’s journeys. We should be nice to it, respect it and love it.
I decided to do this campaign because I knew other women were struggling with accepting and embracing their own bodies. So I thought, “Let’s show women what real bodies look like.” Each photo tells its own story of loving and embracing our bodies.
